Bahamas Tourney

Does anyone know what time the games are? Are they at night? What are the best restaurants to eat at, at the Resort or nearby? Thanks

Doubtful. The Georgia game is not related to the event at Baha Mar, just happened to be a coincidence that Georgia was playing on the same island as we were. I bought the premium and there was nothing about transportation.
No transportation. Uber or rent a van for larger groups. Getting Uber after game at night on Sunday back to Behar dicey.

The VIP packages were announced today for the general public, although you could specify your team. Not cheap. I don't have the particulars right now but I think the prime seat packages were around $6K and the GA package was around $5K. Includes a gift, transportation from the airport and a reception. I will stick with my what I have now.
Totally.

On the website, they are still selling tickets. If you choose the first day it says 7PM, but there has been no official announcement as of yet apparently from what I can tell.

2 weeks ago, I emailed and try said TV times not determined yet, but they assume first of the two games on Thurs won't be until early evening.

My wife is nagging me as she wants to know when she can make dinner reservation or yoga class with my daughter...

With game times set, looking to make dinner reservations.

Has anyone heard if St. John's is planning hosting any type of alumni event?

Checking again...did anyone hear if school plans to host any alumni event at Baha Mar like other years?

I'm pretty surprised this hasn't sold out. I was refreshing the page months ago expecting it to sell out in minutes. Maybe some of the other team fans don't have as much interest? UVA fans for instance may not be enthiasatic given how their season ended. Would be great if Johnnies fans have the biggest presence.

Also prices for the Grand Hyatt Baha Mar hotel lowered so it may be worth rebooking if you bought near the peak. Make sure to do at least 4 nights to get one free.

As for Tennessee they play Georgia at Athens five days earlier in football then the weekend of the Bahamas is their last home game at Neyland Stadium. No sure how many fans they might bring for hoops.
