I've hypothesized about this on discord and with a couple ppl. Hear me out:
-- He's signed with Rick's former club, Panathinaikos.
-- He played on last year's Greece U18 team with Lefty, and under assistant coach Ricky Johns
Could this be our "backup" plan?
Also said there would be a late portal entrant at PG from WCC that we would be involved with.Goodman just stated St. John has a visit this week with a point guard
I sense his camp priced him over what SJ was willing to pay. You'd think this whole situation would look very attractive for Acaden Lewis. Obviously we don't want to be relying on a freshman at point but he should see a clear path to potentially playing a lot or even starting if the offense is somewhat disjointed without any true point guards on the floor.
Completely agree Mullins Revenge. Lewis is a big need. He would provide roster flexibility and avoid the dreaded roster redundancy. So Jackson is the starting pg. In Rick we trust! Still need to bring in another pg. Id spend big bucks and get Lewis in here.
Probably the Drexel kid I just posted about Jason Drake.Goodman just stated St. John has a visit this week with a point guard
I thought the exact opposite of Lefty. I thought he looked extremely comfortable out there and the game was not too big for him. He gave us some real solid minutes down the stretch of the season. The Euro players are so hard to judge. Consider our own “Lefty”. Right now the game looked way too fast for him. He rushed his shots. At times he looked like he was moving in Slo Mo. Don’t get me wrong I still have high hopes for him but it takes TIME. Gambling on another kid seems like more of a long range move than next season guy.
Makes sense.. he's probably asking for $2m so you'd better have plans on starting him at that numberI sense his camp priced him over what SJ was willing to pay.
For the season he shot 6 of 26 from 3. That’s a 23.1%. From the field he was 33%. (13 of 39). That is more than just the Arkansas game.I thought the exact opposite of Lefty. I thought he looked extremely comfortable out there and the game was not too big for him. He gave us some real solid minutes down the stretch of the season.
Its just that our last memory of him was being ice cold vs arkansas.
Lefty needs to hit the jump rope all offseason season and work on foot speed. If he can keep big east guards in front of him, he will be a great addition off the bench next year.
Well his dad played for the Jets so they know what they are getting intoActually Goodie said Dylan Darling is the Mid Major guard set to visit SJU.
