Little bit of Tyler Kolek in Darling’s game.

Hard to believe that right now with Drake visiting this week IMO. If they are hot after him I can't see how there's a deeper plan for a more competent PG. But Pitino has surprised me before....Very confident right now that there is a complete plan and vision

He wants $4 million and doesn't pass so I"ll passPJ Haggerty is in the portal from Memphis and that kid can ball
Would have hoped so too but seems like with Rick tweet + Ian's Instagram of him being the PG sounds like these guys would be bought in to backup Jackson at PGHopefully Drake/Darling are replacing Sim and not the starting PG role
We still got the Xaivian Lee salary slot available. I agree with you that it's hard to see a top echelon guy also being the PG with all of these proclamations.Would have hoped so too but seems like with Rick tweet + Ian's Instagram of him being the PG sounds like these guys would be bought in to backup Jackson at PG
Any idea if this is real or who is can be from the WCC?Also said there would be a late portal entrant at PG from WCC that we would be involved with.

I guess I'm just confused by this whole Jackson thing now. Is him being able to play PG a big part of the reason he's coming here? Because word was he was coming here before Lee even made his decision. So, if Lee committed here and was locked in to at least 30 mins at PG would Jackson have reconsidered. I don't understand any of this tbhWe still got the Xaivian Lee salary slot available. I agree with you that it's hard to see a top echelon guy also being the PG with all of these proclamations.
Interesting. Reviewing the below.Trilly said this was him:

Better than 3:1 A:to ratio but shooting looks pretttty questionable. Started next to a senior lead guard so not the clearest picture.Trilly said this was him:

And things with Ian seemed locked up prior to Lee committing anyway. He said as much with Zach ("He knew he wanted St. John's after his visit."). He also told Zach he was excited to "have ball in his hands after playing off of it at North Carolina". So that can mean a number of things. Will he play the RJ role, but they're calling it point guard because they expect playmaking for others as much as for himself?I guess I'm just confused by this whole Jackson thing now. No way a big time PG will come now unless they have a guarantee and it seems that guarantee went to Jackson IMO.And things with Ian seemed locked up prior to Lee committing anyway. I find it very confusing that Rick would say he's the next great point guard and Ian's IG would just say "POINT GUARD". Why would a Boogie or Pettiford come here if they are also point guards? It's an odd situation. Something has to be up, which is why I mentioned the Greek kid who's more of a point forward.

Guess we know who our next PG is. Didn't quite see this one coming. Assuming we will fill in with an experienced mid-major true PG.
I agree. I think it's likely a Euro guy Rick has in mind. Not advocating for it.Neither of them nor any other big time PGs were, are or will be coming which is why this is playing out like this.
