Assistant Coaches

@WojYahooNBA: Denver coach Michael Malone has hired well-regarded Ed Pinckney as his top assistant, league sources tell Yahoo. He had been with Bulls.

Damn!

@NYPost_Brazille: Ed Pinckney staying in NBA not a surprise. Top candidates for last spot, I'm hearing, are Mitch Richmond and Greg St. Jean. #sjubb

@NYPost_Brazille: Hearing third #sjubb assistant likely won't be done until after July live recruiting period. However, they will have four people on road.

Seems from what I hear Richmond for third AC job & St. Jean for DOBO, but who knows, since this been a fluid situation.

Who will the the 4th guy?
Based upon Paultz's post, guess either Mitch or St Jean.

" Now you stick to that and everything else will be cream cheese"

Very odd that it is taking Chris so long to fill out the Staff.

Maybe he's already filled it but there are reasons he's waiting to formally announce and bring the individual on.

You would think that if he already filled the position, he would make an announcement ASAP so that the new coach could get to work.

Either way, this is getting pretty ridiculous. How long does it take to find an assistant coach? I don't see any logical explanation as to why it is taking so long, other than we have one guy and one guy only in mind, and he is hesitating to give us an answer.

Does anyone even know who we have interviewed? We heard Pickney and Richmond. Pickney has gotten a new NBA job, I have not heard another word on Richmond.

The most surprising news about the assistant coach would be Knight not asking about it for the 20th time and peanut not complaining about it for the 100th time.
