Is Chris Alesi someone who should be on the watch list for the future? Xavier's grad. Top AAU program exposure. Of course we would have the same issue as Moe if we hire him.

Great news for St. John's. The Rens are a powerhouse and his father loves his former players, Mullin and Slice.

Would love for their to be an assistant coach with experience in working with big men. Yakwe and Sima both seem extremely athletic but raw. Picture an Olajuwon, Willis Reed, Paul Silas kinda guy. (not them specifically but that type)

I've said the same thing in the past.
 
What is St. Jean specialty? Because the other two assistants are there to recruit, they don't' make their check in the gym.

Analytics, I believe.

Some will hate that (Charles Barkley, for one), but it has it's place, IMO. It's also here to stay, like it or not, so we might as well get the jump on it.
 
He's been around the NBA literally all his life, so I'm sure he knows his X's and O's, or at least the pro version of them.
 
He also played at De la Salle, which means if he absorbed anything from that experience he will be able to coach smothering defense.

If you remember, the DLS coach was at one point a candidate to replace Dunlap. I think it was reported here that he wanted too much money, though.

Well analytics are great in roster management, trades, free agent signings and fantasy football drafts but what you're telling me is no one on the staff has made their money instructing basketball, short of Slice's stellar record at Manhattan. Fire away guys, I'm not saying I'm disappointed just that I'm not expecting too much the first year or two.

He might be better off calling Coach Mullin as opposed to campaigning for a job via social media. Unless of course he has a year of eligibility that we didn't know about and has given the new staff a verbal.

If he were able to teach every player to steal the ball like he did it would be a brilliant hire. Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure that was something he was born with.

I stand corrected. Maybe I should campaign for a job so my kids can go to school for free.
