Not really.

The "Assistant Coaches" thread became the "Future Point Guard" thread about two pages ago.

Don't blink. It'll turn into the "Best Big Man Available" thread or "Best Pacino Movie" in a few pages.
 
Besides Lovett the only other highly rated PG out there appears to be some kid named Nick Noscowiak. He has Iowa State on his list. Maybe Matt A has a relationship?

He suffers from depression, so if he was indeed brought aboard fans should mentally prepare themselves now to avoid having to rip him later.

Such a common ailment that and anxiety - hope the kid gets help - likely has more acceptable today - as opposed to many of us or our ancestors - (my Dad WWII Burma had anxiety til he died at age 84)- and Nick N gets on with his dreams to include college ball if that's in his heart - I'm sure most colleges and surely with Chris at our helm - will be prepared nurture the boy/ young teen with love, compassion and yes discipline.

I did not imply we were on the list as I know we were not involved.
However, the question was asked who should we get involved with ?
That list could change with a call from Coach Mullin to Rowan Barrett and /or Steve Nash who are the heads of basketball Canada.
If he wants his family to be able to come see him play somewhat regularly it would be Purdue or SJU. No more no less.
 
It would be great to have Pinkney and Richmond on staff. Hopefully that happens.

Reports had Terrance out watching some of the games this past week or so. Where does he fit in on the staff?

I think he was helping brother Chris a little bit. I read somewhere that he was resisting any inclusion into the new staff

I would guess we are waiting on the NBA season to finish. The staff would've been filled out by now if Mullin wasn't trying to get an NBA guy.

If we want this all to shake out as soon as possible, sounds like we should be rooting for the Cavs to sweep the Bulls so decisions can be made...

I guess we can blame Kelly Olynyk for dislocating Kevin Love's arm, which means they probably won't sweep the Bulls.

Yeah, you are probably right. Cavs in 5 or 6 most likely, though I expect JR and Perkins to both be suspended for game 1.
 
The single most important get is the third assistant! Hope it's an NBA guy who can work with bigs, we dont have anyone at the moment to work with bigs! I am not sold on this team being good next season at all. Too many question marks with our returning talent, both Jordan and Obekpa have had multiple issues. We didn't sign any studs, so we really need someone to compliment Mullin who would be great with guards
 
Saw Greg St. Jean in the law school cafeteria today donning SJU basketball gear, anyone know his role with the team? Know of him because he played at Wesleyan.
