Lunardi has 4 BE teams in: Nova, Creighton Xavier and Providence

Providence is the strangest team to me. They go from sneaking past us in 2OT, to going on a remarkable streak beating the likes of Creighton and Xavier. Then, they get beat by Marquette handily.

We're not a bad team at all. Syracuse, Nova, Wisconson, and Creighton squeaked by us too.
You also have to understand the difference between home and away games. For example, Xavier beat Tennessee this year and then like a week later got crushed at Tennessee by like 15-16 points. It happens all the time.

Seton Hall won @ Xavier today.
Go figure.

There are 2 good teams in the conference.
The rest is a toss up.
And if nobody steps up the conference will have a disappointing year in terms of NCAA bids.
They are all gonna beat each other up

First bet I lost in an amazing week. I have Louisvile -20 tonight and also on the money line. Letting it all ride on Manning tomorrow, so it could all be gone.

I'm confident we take Xavier, Georgetown, DePaul at the garden. all revenge games for us

I think we sweep the Garden games to end the season, including Creighton. Providence on the road is huge....win that and the RPI jumps ten spots and the season opens up. Lose, and it will be a very different story.

Big win if Gtown can hold on down the stretch. Meanwhile moron Johnnie fans seem to be rooting for MState under the basket .
Don't they know that this win is needed desperately for the league.

Big win for the Hoyas ... and, more importantly, for the Big East. (Felt very strange rooting so hard for them down the stretch.)

Nice RPI boost for the Big East

Michigan State. 60
Georgetown. 64

Gtown, a so so team sure made Big Ten powerhouse MState look mediocre

how could that be? Gtown is just a middle of the pack Big East team. You've told us yourself, the league is down. Surely this can;t happen against a
Big Ten powerhouse.

Excellent win for the Hoyas. Definitely good for the conference. .

On a separate note of our remaining games Georgetown scares me as much as anyone we have left. At their best they can be very good. Additionally we have not played well against them at all for some time now. We have been blown out six straight times by them without ever being in the game. I think it is a bit of a match up style thing but whatever it is they have had our number for a while.

we can dominate teams with weak/slow guards even if they have a dominant inside presence. This has been one of the really mystifying and frustrating parts of this season as we've backed off so many teams and they've rained threes, instead of extending the defense and getting in their face. G'towns guards are about as good as it gets especially as a combo so I agree with you. Providence also has had our number for a while.

Michigan State did not have their full team out there. Been battling injuries for awhile.

Also, Nova beat Temple on the road (at least for RPI purposes) by 15. Wins away from home carry big impacts in the RPI. These two wins were very big for the conference this late, especially since every team plays G'town and Nova twice.

The Michigan Stat wine is a big resume builder for a very disrespected conference--and from a team in the middle of the pack. Creighton has been tossed from the top 25 after each loss, in spite of its 10th ranked RPI. It is just total disrespect for a team that advanced in the tournament and then returned 7/8 key players.
