Watching Seton Hall-Butler on FS1, is anyone at that game? All I see are empty seats

I went to the game, halfway decent crowd for a 9 o'clock Wednesday night aginst Butler. The apathy around SHU except for diehards matches ours. Pretty good game.

Watched that game. SH closes out close games as poorly as we do.

Yes they do.Butler point guard took Edwin out of the game down the stretch and SHU was toast.

Locker room problems too;

Well Teague has every right to complain. He was a man amongst boys when he got the ball, which was very rare. I am also surprised they run nothing for Oliver, who can shoot it.

Locker room problems and they bring in two guards next year who will play the same position in IW and KC who will both want minutes (re: shots) over Gibbs and Sina. Plus, losing Teague so no big to speak of if Delgado can't qualify.

And then add Tiny to the mix doing what to Antigua?

Grab your popcorn folks. Things are going to get really dicey in Newark next year.

Good for Isaiah. Good for SH. And good for the BE.

BTW, the McD selection is a joke.

Maybe a joke but who was our last McDonald's AA? Felipe.

Omar Cook, maybe?

Per previous posts that might have been thought to be jokes, the correct answer is Elijah Ingram in 2002.

EEEEE-----LIIIII---JAH.. Ingram, out of St ANTHONY'S, played what 2 years for us? Got booted from school over the PITT ROAD TRIP and wound up at New Mexico or Mexico State?

He didn't have the career everyone foresaw for him.. In more ways than one.. It's been said that Hurley, SR. never forgave St John's over the handling of Ingram's case plus the Mahoney era's handling of Roshown McLEOD, who transferred to DUKE and became a first round pro. That, after Brian had Roshown nailed to his bench.

The most important player in the history of STJ basketball.

More important than Mullin, than Berry, than Dick McGuire. Hell more important than Lapchick and Louie.

Without Elijah and his handy-dandy cell phone, 2/3rds of the 03-04 team are charged with gang rape and the program is killed by Harrington.

I predict that St. John's will wind up finishing fifth in the league. I think they are playing there best basketball now and the mediocrity ahead of them will be easy to pass. Probably 9-9 in the conference will get fifth and set them up for a run in the conference tournament.

I hope your are right but really 9-9 assuming a great finish..and the others are mediocre?

I think the team can finish 9-9 if they continue to play as well as they have the last few games. I don't see (Marquette,Georgetown, Seton Hall, Butler or DePaul with the same upside).

Watching Iona beat Manhattan...Not impressed with Manhattan...we may be underachieving but no way they are best team in area

Too funny...Iona wins and now is rated #1 area team by Kussoy...These guys seem to go out of their to way to show their disappointment in SJ...nice win for Iona in MAAC but in no way are they #1 team in area...also not a very impressive team...we aren't either...but still Queen of the Pigs IMO

Lunardi has 4 BE teams in: Nova, Creighton Xavier and Providence

Providence is the strangest team to me. They go from sneaking past us in 2OT, to going on a remarkable streak beating the likes of Creighton and Xavier. Then, they get beat by Marquette handily.
