Around the Big East

Hoyas and Orange 33 all at the half, nice showing thus far

Georgetown won it 78-71.

Normally would not like getting Cuse off a loss, but they really have not looked that good so far this year.

It'll be tough, but if we make shots against the zone, we have a chance, IMO.

If the Hoyas win Cuse will take it out on the Johnnies.

Luckily we are not their next game. ;)
Hopefully they get all their frustration out on Monday against Eastern Michigan.
Then again, if we can't beat Penn State at the Garden we are sure as hell not going to beat Syracuse at the Dome.

Maybe it's me, but while I was watching the game, I was thinking that neither team was nearly as good as they were back in the heyday of the Big East Conference.

After our losses to Delaware St & LIU it was inevitable that this board would be in "meltdown mode" even thought the experts have us finishing 8th in the Big East. Today Syracuse lost at home to G'Town and guess what mode that board is in, yep you guess'd it.

Speaking of Delaware St, they lost by 19 to Binghamton today (85-66)
Makes our loss to Delaware St even more painful, if that's possible

No sense dwelling over the Delaware St. game. It is over, and there is no going back.

Besides, Binghamton winning that game evens it out, LOL.

Sounds like the way many St. John's fans thought of Lou Carnesecca's last couple of seasons.

Don't it always seem to go
You don't know what you got 'till its gone
They paved paradise and put up a parking lot.

Another great win for the BE. Glad we are doing our part :(

Georgetown over Syracuse. Butler over Indiana. St. John's over Penn State. It don't get any better than this!

As far as doing our part, enjoy Aubie! This song is for us. ;)
