Don't look now but former Big East member Rutgers is 6 and 0 with second yr coach after finishing 7 and 25 last year

Are we supposed to not look at their record, or your passive aggressiveness?

They've played a very week schedule. If we played their schedule we would be 6 - 0 also.

Creighton's Marcus Foster Big East Player of week, Justin Patton Rookie of the Week. Clean sweep

Patton is a good big, although a bit thin.

Whoever had the final decision to add Butler, Xavier and Creighton to the new Big East is looking like a genius.

Great news. Assume we are just outside the top 20

On serious note, I think Creighton will give Nova and X all they can handle,

Give McDermott credit too for red shirting raw big man Patton last year, letting him get stronger & work on his game rather than throw him to lions. Thus far, he is evidencing good ability & will be another one of their solid four year players. Creighton also plays transfer game as well as anyone to keep those 18,000 fans happy most years. Like you said, great addition.

Who would have expected when the old BE was falling apart, the new BE would look like this. 3 top 10 teams in a 10 team conference.

Well if Brewtown Andy writes it it must be true. LOL

Sounds like someone who aspires to write for Bleacher Report.

Not saying Katin isn't struggling, because he obviously is - except at the FT line - but really? Brewtown Andy?

An overachieving three star level kid perhaps.

Ed Cooley said in the preseason that Kyron Cartwright could be most improved player in the Big East. Currently averaging 8.2 PPG & 8.2 APG.

From what we'd heard, Mr. Ellison was going to be our MIP. I'd love to see 8 and 8 out of him.

He is an 8 and 8 man. 8 TOs and 8 missed layups per game.

Has Cooley seen Mlik Ellison?

DePaul refusing to concede the title of "Big East Bottom Feeder" to us - who knew Vincentians were so competitive with each other?

Great college hoops day includes a top BE challenge. UCLA / Kentucky now, followed by Xavier / Baylor, followed by Zags / Zona. Wish it was cold and raining so I could stay in all day.

With Nova beating St Joseph, UCLA takes Kentucky & Jay Wrights crew gets #1 ranking in next poll one would assume.

Yes, it is a good day of hoops. I am also interested in the Providence vs. Rhode Island game..

Alas, my wife has informed me I will be watching none of the games. Instead, I hope to pick a nice Christmas tree.

Nova's Josh Hart with a triple double today: 16 pts, 10 rebs, and career high 10 assists. This kid is epitome of a solid college player, great at both ends of court. Not sure what is NBA future/impact is, but who cares.
