I said many times this season that Xavier was better built for a march madness run than nova. Well it's time to eat crow.
Villanova has destroyed every team that has gotten in their way so far. Although I personally think if they play Kansas that'll be the end of the road for them, it has been a hell of a season for them. Elite Eight. And I'll tell you what with Brunson, Jenkins, Hart, Bridges, Boothe and more coming back next season I see them right back there

Yep they get Spellman, and Paschall from Fordham. They will be very good.
Cooley getting an extension. PC's commitment to upgrade program & facilities is a key variable;
"While Cooley is almost certainly going to receive a pay raise and additional years on a new deal, he’s most excited about the upgrades the school has made in the program in recent years. The Friars now fly charter aircraft to the majority of their road games, have an aggressive salary pool for assistant coaches and just committed to spending $30 million to build the Ruane Friar Development Center.
The centerpiece of the new building is a practice facility, locker room, academic, meeting and office space exclusively for men’s basketball. Such a facility has become standard for all of the major powers in the country and around the Big East."

Xavier University basketball player J.P. Macura faces misdemeanor charges after court documents say he "did knowingly pull his pants down" in an Oakley bar early Thursday morning.
The incident happened at R.P. McMurphy's Irish Pub on Wasson Road. Court documents say several people were present at the bar and saw Macura's actions.
The 20-year-old sophomore is charged with disorderly conduct and obstructing official business. Both are misdemeanors.
The obstructing charge surrounds his alleged possession of a fake ID in someone else's name that put his age at 21.
Messages left with Xavier officials were not immediately returned.
He was being held at the Hamilton County jail Thursday morning. He is scheduled to be arraigned at 12:30 p.m.

When I first saw the "obstruction" charge, I thought, my god is this kid that well hung.
