Football battle between old Big East foes. UCONN edges NOVA 20-15. The boob on TV predicts UCONN and Navy in the first AAC football championship. Yes there is such a thing now. What a joke. The talent level was similar to the Harvard - Yale game.

After seeing Nova's AD hiring I don't mind seeing them lose in football. Even if it comes against Uconn. Obviously they wouldn't be picked up by a P5 football conference at this point, but don't want them thinking they'll be in that position and pump everything into football.

Dylan Painter committed to Villanova today. 6'10" kid from PA. In the end it was between Villanova and Penn State. Most recruiting services have him as a 3 star. I don't think he is a project but doesn't seem to be a game changer at this point either. Villanova recently missed out on Payton Pritchard, Kevin Huerter, and Deandre Hunter. Their biggest need was size though and this kid will obviously help with that.

Seems silly to have all your coaches go out to the league's network HQ in Los Angeles.

Why hasn't Fox Sports built a NYC studio? They own/lease a ton of real estate here.

McDermott taller than Mullin! How tall is he?

McDermott is huge. I remember seeing him at the Garden couple of years ago and he towered over his son. (Who was shut down by a superb Jakarr Sampson.)

I don't recall Nova using their big men up at the perimeter but maybe it just feels like that because they kept posterizing us last year.

Agree, Happy. Heck! You could even say, Harvard is also ascending (on the basketball court) more than their competition (The Hall and Miami).

I also heard he'll more than likely commit to Harvard when it's all said and done.
