Around the Big East

I fail to see how DSR's stock is higher than D'Lo's.

Hopefully D'Lo is preparing for Portsmouth.

Noticeably more athletic. Other than that, very similar players.

Frankly, I don't see him as an NBA player, let alone a draftee. If he is in the "Association," then I don't foresee him sticking around long.

DSR from Gtown going pro.

Georgetown's D'Vauntes Smith-Rivera will forego his senior season and enter the 2015 NBA Draft, per release. HUGE Big East news.

I personally don't foresee him as a high pick, but the experts would know better. That being said, I don't think he could have boosted his stock too much with one more year.

Doesn't make sense unless there's something behind the scenes. He's not projected to be drafted and not even on NBADraft.net's top 100 of 2015

Yeah.... I was possibly thinking about something behind the scenes (ie, G'town's program, hanger on's), as well. It could also just be the state of college basketball.

Gentlemen, since when does what we or even scouts think make a difference with most of these kids. Maybe he is just tired of going to school. As we have seen, even if they don't make the NBA, they are ready to take that chance and if not, head over seas to make money.

@DePauliaSports: Greetings from the DePaul Student Center where Dave Leitao is about to be introduced as the new DePaul men’s basketball coach. #dpubb

That hire is a real head scratcher IMO
I would take Bobby Hurley over him in a heartbeat

Personally, I doubt they was gonna get Hurley. Just a hunch.

Leitao agreed to keep assistant coach Garrett, father of Billy jr. Hurley was not willing to do that.

Good,

@GoodmanESPN: Xavier coach Chris Mack has his contract extended another year -- through 2021, school announced.

Gotta like what Mack has done. A lot of sweet 16s

I believe Xavier is his dream job, always expected he'd stay

Will be school #3 for him;

@GoodmanESPN: Dylan Ennis leaving Nova for his final season. But Jay Wright has Jalen Brunson coming in.

Transfers are where this post grad loophole really comes into effect. Transfer and sit out a year but if you graduate you get it back. It almost makes transferring worthwhile. I wouldn't be shocked if the NCAA adjusts the rule.

I was told by someone close to the Nova program that he wants a school where he can be the focal point of the offense.
