Uconn just got commitment from 4* G ranked #27 in class of 2023.
per John Fanta

Four-star Class of 2023 Stephon Castle has announced his commitment to UConn. The 6-foot-6 combo guard out of Covington, Georgia picks the Huskies over Auburn, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, others. Ranked in the Top 30 in the class by 247 Sports. Big get for Dan Hurley & his staff.

Don't you mean #270? Oh never mind, I'm confusing this kid with someone we're recruiting /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png

Marquette has a new coach and all new players and isnt scared to play real teams.  They are in a tourney and beat Ole Miss, right now are beating West Virginia and if they beat them, they will play the Bonnies.

Why didnt we enter one of these tournaments and play some real teams.  Very disappointing.

I like what Mike Cragg has done but the schedule this year is embarrassing.  Good for Marquette.  I hope they win this tourney.

While I'm happy for Marquette's win, I'm cautiously optimistic we'll finish above them this year.

Always said Shaka would be great in the BE.  Lot of people slept on him.  Him at a bball only school can be big.

If this team has double digit losses at the end of the season with this weak schedule and winds on the bubble no one can complain if we don’t get a bid. This schedule is an embarrassment. There nothing intriguing or interesting about any of these games.

Per, @FOXSports, 2021 Gavitt Tipoff Games were the most-watched ever on FS1 – up 13% over 2019 (274,000 vs. 242,000). Game that did the best? St John's-Indiana with 395,000 viewers. #sjubb

Watching UCONN vs Binghamton. Huskies are huge and will give us problems on the boards for sure. Think we may match up better with Nova.

Mcgriff looks alot better out there for binghampton then he ever did for us.  Good for him.

before today,  Big East is 31-4,  3-1 against ranked teams.  REDMEN posters have suggested twelve or so wins in the league.  I’m wondering where the wins are coming from.  I’m thinking one win from Creighton,  Marquette, DePaul, Providence,
Butler and two from Georgetown.  That’s seven.  Gonna be tough to get double figures.

But , we lost in front of 395,000 people .     Had it been a Win , it would have meant a lot to our Rankings . And , year end NCAA aspirations .

FINAL: Purdue 80, Villanova 72

Damn that was a good game. Purdue might be the worst matchup in the country for nova, but it also might be a precursor for them struggling against the top teams in the BE. Uconn, Xavier, seton hall all have huge front lines. Don’t think anyone in the BE is gonna run away with the league this year.
