Dont want to jinx us but if there was ever a year to win at Butler, this is it.

I’m not buying  this slow start. Same thing happened to them last year and if they ever get healthy there’s no reason they shouldn’t be better this year.

Hate to see it but the Hall has a roster that can matchup with pretty much any team in the country IMO.

After our loss to Indiana, Champ said something about the team not having any more time outs so they didn't have a play set for that last possession. After the Ohio State win, Holtman was asked by Jimmy Jackson why he didn't call a time out before the last play. He said something along the lines of "I didn't need to, we have a play ready for that situation".

I know we recruited Kadary Richmond and hate to say Boeheim may have ben right, but Seton Hall actually looks better with Aiken at point guard.  I've watched them play both Michigan and Ohio State and have seen little from Richmond.  Not sure why some had him on NBA draft lists in 2022.  In his defense, he is only a soph and the system at Syracuse was very different than the one at SHU.

Bryce Aiken is 24 and was a Harvard student.
Khadary Richmond is 20.
Older players win in college hoops.

Aiken has been good so far this year. He also doesn’t pass much if ever. Seton Hall had 4 assists last night.

UConn looks like they got a very good one in Jordan Hawkins. I think he's going to be a problem.

I think UConn is the best team in the Big East.

Sanogo and Cole are both really good players and Hawkins really does look like he's going to bust out and maybe be the star there once Hurley realizes that he can't keep him on the bench anymore.

I'm hesitant to say they they're better than Nova (or Seton Hall really) only because I've seen Auburn play twice now and they've looked pretty awful to me (I don't know how they're ranked #19) but I think 3-games in a solid tournament like this will give us a pretty good picture of what we're up against. It's obvious that our work is cut out for us. Interior guys will really have to toughen up for Sanogo in those UConn games to compete.

Auburn wearing UConn down at the end here with their consistent pressure defense. 2pt game now ,Auburn making a run. If you can wear UConn down with pressure that’s a positive for us.

UConn prevails over “Barbecue Bruce” & Auburn. Tyler Polley of UConn really can shoot and made ton of key ones today. Sanogo a load obviously.
