Good kid. He’ll be a thorn in our side. Exactly the type of player u think of when u think of providence.

Villanova is building their backcourt for the future. Wildcats just secured a 4-star commitment for the Class of 2022. Brendan Hausen has announced that he’s heading to the Main Line. 6-foot-4 guard out of Amarillo High School in Texas. Hausen joins 4-star guard Mark Armstrong.

Antoine has really had his injury woes;

“Jay Wright told reporters that Villanova's Bryan Antoine is out indefinitely due to a knee injury and Dhamir Cosby-Roundtree's status for the upcoming season is "not looking good". Cosby-Roundtree has been dealing with shin and leg issues.”

I feel bad for any kid that has to miss a season due to injury but feel especially bad for Bryan Antoine who can't stay healthy for any season so far.

Cosby-Roundtree has also been plagued by injuries the last couple of years after a pretty solid sophomore year.

Dhamir-Cosby Roundtree's career is over. The senior big man has been battling leg injuries and numerous procedures over the last two years, but the team has just announced that he will be removed from active roster but stay on scholarship. @VUhoops

Wow, sorry to hear that.

I hate all injuries whether for us or opponents. The kids work way too hard to not reap the benefits.

It’s tough luck for Crosby - Roundtree to have such a devastating Career ending Injury .  It’s a loss for him and the Nova team .  Knowing Wright’s reputation as All Classy first team and with all the very loyal and generous Wildcat Alums in notable Positions , I would say this young man will graduate with a Degree and offers for a nice Career in whatever endeavors he chooses. Good luck to him .  I would wish the same for any of our Players who had such injuries as well .

Per John Fanta;

Ed Cooley keeps a strong week on the recruiting trail rolling. 3-star prospect Christ Essandoko has committed to Providence, joining high school teammate Quante Berry. 6-11 center out of Winston-Salem Prep picked PC over Maryland, Georgetown, Illinois, among others. Quality add.

Some pretty good competition.

When I coached Womens soccer at ST J. full scholarships were  promised to ladies even if  their careers were cut short by injuries .It is a very commendable policy .
