was gonna say the same... how did UConn have the "room" to improve that much? lol... do they count Storrs South? lolDid UConn add seats? If not, how were they not a sellout every single game last season to begin with?

ehh... as "fun" as that would be to stick it to Hurley... Beating them at MSG is soooo much better.UCONN should be playing in Queens next season. Be nice to return the favor. The clowns at the Big East won't allow it, though.
I read the weak and ineffective excuse for us playing at Gampel, something to the effect of the XL Center being in poor condition.
I reject that silly notion. The reality is Gampel holds thousands of fewer fans. Guess what? So does Carnesecca... And what is good for the goose, is for the gander.
I want UCONN in Queens, so we have a true home court advantage...
Not my idea, btw, it's Rick's.

exactly.Nothing would be more weak for us than to move the game to Queens because we want to enhance our home court advantage. Bad for the brand we're building, and bad for fans.
Embrace playing them at MSG. Why should we even think it won't be a true homecourt advantage anymore? I am fully expecting a 85/15 split next year.
Pitino later admitted he was just breaking chops w Hurley. The MSG turnout renaissance is all you have to look at. Think big, your President, HC and AD are.Nah, later for that. I'm with Rick on this...
Do them like we do Butler and stick them in Queens.
The Vice doc also shows how motivating playing at MSG is. Talking about making it to Broadway, selling out MSG, etc. You don't get that playing on campus.exactly.
gone are the days of trying to get a "homecourt" advantage on campus. The Garden rocking with 17k+ is the only homecourt advantage we need. This train won't stop rolling, this run were having is only going to translate into more NIL next year. With Matt A/Repole/NIL putting the kids on a hook, and Pitino and his proven success reeling them in, this isn't a one hit wonder, this will be sustained success.

Hopefully in 1-2 years, we're playing no Big East games at Carnesseca and its limited to just Fordham/Hofstra & other local games.
Odom could be a home run there.
We'll just bookmark this for next year. We can make it an annually thing for you.Wait.......Prey can shoot now?
Remember there was a time recently when some on here argued we should move most of our games to UBS arena? Boy how times have changed fast. The Vice doc also shows how motivating playing at MSG is. Talking about making it to Broadway, selling out MSG, etc. You don't get that playing on campus.

Go to Queens to tell Rick that yourself. Again, it's Rick's idea, not mine.
