It is of utmost importance that we avoid uconn in the 1st rnd of the BET.
I think uconn is winning the tourney.

Yep, I think you're right. And if they do win the tournament, their fans will be even more insufferable than they already are, if that is indeed even possible. All we'll hear is how Pukon took over the Big East in their first year back. And that's why UCONN is the only Big East team I never root for in the NCAA tournament.SJU61982" post=423260 said:With Gillespie out for Nova, and the controversy at Creighton (although there is a possibility that they could rally around that), UCONN has become the overwhelming favorite to win the Big East Tournament, IMO.Tonyinfairfield " post=423253 said:UCONN off to a quick 9-0 start against Georgetown. I'm sur when CBS scheduled this as a nationally televised game, it looked good. LOL!
Now 12-0 UCONN.

Yeah where there's more scoring. /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png/media/kunena/emoticons/smile.png
I know. That's what everybody says. I used to say that too! But since I really got into it, I've learned to appreciat ethe game so much more and I realize now it's not just about the scoring. It's way more than that. And I enjoy watching immensely whether it's a 7-0 game or a 0-0 draw.bamafan" post=423269 said:Tonyinfairfield " post=423267 said:Jeesh. They probe for weaknesss and exploit matchups . The skill levels are off the Charts st this level and that contributes to low scoring usually .bamafan" post=423269 said:Tonyinfairfield " post=423267 said:Jeesh. Monte, you are 100% correct. This is the first time I've ever seen the words "classy" and "UCONN" in the same sentence! /media/kunena/emoticons/wink.png/media/kunena/emoticons/grin.pngMonte" post=423279 said:I rarely use with words "classy" and "UCONN" in the same sentence, but up 98-82, with 20 seconds left and the ball, and with the walkons in, they just ran out the clock rather then go for 100. Classy move by Hurley/UCONN.
And that's exactly why Slyfoxx, that I don't watch MLS games. IMHO, there's such a huge drop off in skill level from EPL, or other leagues, that it is not enjoyable to me.SLYFOXX1968" post=423276 said:Tonyinfairfield " post=423273 said:I know. they are grateful to be back in the Big East and have to watch them selves LOL
That was Dan Hurley's son who dribbled the game out. His second appearance in a game this season. Zero points.Monte" post=423279 said:I rarely use with words "classy" and "UCONN" in the same sentence, but up 98-82, with 20 seconds left and the ball, and with the walkons in, they just ran out the clock rather then go for 100.
