Yup, very savvy, make the right play type & has great size. He makes teammates better when he steps on floor. Just ask their PG Cole about that.matt105" post=424123 said:I know I'm dating myself but watching Bouknight play reminds me of watching Dave Bing . So smooth !!!!!!!!!

Saw Dave Bing vs. NYU at old MSG in 1963. I think their big man was Chuck Richards. Violet with Kramer and Hairston in a romp.matt105" post=424123 said:I know I'm dating myself but watching Bouknight play reminds me of watching Dave Bing . So smooth !!!!!!!!!
I can't say that Matt with any type of certainty. From where I sit it can be percieved that he received no more than a slap on the wrist. The school it can be perceived held him out of one game and reinstates him long in advance of the BE Tournament where they may be the favourite to win, thereby ensuring a high NCAA seeding which often translates to more publicity and revenue.matt105" post=424355 said:Absolutely appropriate actions on both sides !!!!!!!!!!!!
it probably shows he has enough good-will built up at the school to weather this storm. I doubt he would have survived this had he had even a whisper of past inappropriate conduct.Duke of Earlington" post=424362 said:Im stunned. I thought mcDermott would never coach another game for them.

Ya think the fact that hey're heading ino the post season with an excellent chance of winning the BE and getting a 4-5 seed in the dance may have factored into the descion? Wonder if McDermott was a poor coah like say Letaio, who finished dead last, if he'd be back after just a quickie 1 game sit down? Or would he be out looking to collect unemployment?
