Around the Big East

So much up in air in Big East over the last week. Creighton can win first outright crown. St. John's can finish anywhere from fourth through 10th. One lock of course: DePaul will finish last.
 
The defensive intensity of teams has led to a number of upsets this weekend .Butler and Xavier were playing very hard and basicallly eliminated Creightopn and Novas outside shooting . We need that intensity this week !!!!!!!

That's nicely but but we would like to have higher rated players please.if eventually this staff can not provide it changes will need to happen. Can not and should not base our recruiting that we will always be able to bring less talented play to a higher level

His comment was weird because I don't think it's a real phrase, but did players actually consider not playing out the rest of the season?
 
McDermott is rightfully going to take a lot of heat for his poorly chosen words. Really bizarre wording for the point he was trying to make. 

Being a top team and tourney time will only amplify the attention to him and the team. Hope for kids sake, they stay strong and win for themselves and while still speaking up and having a voice.

Injuries piling up for Xavier.  Johnson already out for the remainder and of the season, and now Scruggs had to be helped off the court with what looked liked a leg injury of some kind. 

Xavier down by 13 on the road to the Hoyas.

If we right the ship and win our final two at home we would have a shot at 5th place. If we don’t we have a chance to fall to 9th or 10th.
