Around the Big East

And this is the kind of “stuff” the BE hierarchy should be out front and center with, visible and outraged. Yes, it has absolutely nothing to do with quality of play per se, but the NCAA doesn’t “fight fair”, neither should you. This is about conference survival, and oh BTW, isn’t having the BE in the news at this time of year as much as possible going to do nothing but help the new TV contract negotiations? Business 101 really. The media is there, use it!!! Put YOUR case together and get it out there!!

The Big East muckety-mucks will get to it as soon as they are done shining the committee’s shoes.

Carter and Dunn are gonna be pros. If this was a good draft, maybe Dunn would entertain one more year in college. But he's Herb Jones without a jump shot, someone will pick him with a first round pick.

I see former highly touted Big East frosh Dawson Garcia (Marquette) had a huge game for Minnesota last night against Butler - 25 points in game Butler lost by 1.

Butler quite literally gave that game away at the end. They didn’t play like they didn’t want to be there. They just took an unfortunate beat.

It will be interesting to see which seton hall and nova teams show up tonight
