Around the Big East

Here is my lsrger point on talent. And Nova is obviously better. But take a look at their top 8 which right now does not even include Antoine who is a 5 star recruit. Samuels, Moore, Robinson-Earl, Gillespie, Daniels, Dixon, Swider, Slater. How many SJU players could realistically crack that top 8? Maybe Champagnie...I'm not sure who else. Seriously. I don’t think they have anyone who could start at Nova.

Good game per Zach B

Hearing Villanova-Virginia on Saturday at the Garden is on as of now. No fans or media allowed.

Very impressed with Marquette. I said DJ Carton was the best incoming transfer in the BE. Kid is good enough to be a starting PG on just about any BE team immediately. Had 19 against UCLA and now 20 against Creighton. And Garcia is the best frosh in the BE. Kid is a stud.

Marquette has great second half and beats Creighton 89 - 84 on the road

Hard to believe, the Big East may actually be a tougher league then it was last year (bad news for us).

I think last year's league was stronger at the top, but it might be deeper this year.

I think a good Marquette makes things more fun...they used to be so good under Buzz. Then kinda fell off other than a few good yrs with Howard. Good to see them back, just not at the expense of us. That's 2 top 10 wins for Marquette, no?

Sources: Saturday's game at MSG between Villanova and Virginia will not be played as scheduled. Cavaliers have recently been on pause due to COVID-19.

Seton Hall wing Tray Jackson, a Missouri transfer, was going to redshirt and sit out the year. Now he will play. #shbb

Anyone think Jay Wright can catch Coach K ? About 500 wins behind 15 years younger.

I sure as hell hope so, but for every year K sticks around Jay's window shrinks a year. I can't see him coaching until he's 80.
