Around the Big East

Both Posh & Wusu looked much more well conditioned. Heard announcer say Wusu was as high as 245 lb at SJU...lost 30 lbs. Credit to them for putting in the work there.

Did see Posh was 0-3 from deep.

Neither Hall or Butler looked sharp. Long Season.

Old friend Posh scored on older friend John McGriff for a quick turnaround jumper.

Noticed Posh wearing #5 while Wusu wore #0. Not sure if they had planned on wearing each others SJU uniform number. Pretty cool nonetheless.

He would have never agreed to begin a backup point guard to Jenkins.
The reality is that RP wanted Jenkins to be his PG before the ink was dry on his contract . Jenkins has everything that Pitino wants in his PG plus familiarity with his system .

The chemistry just wasn’t there for either Rick or Josh and it’s just one of those things .

Posh is a good player , leaves everything out on the Court and contributed a lot to the CMA years .

Butler seems a good fit for him and Matta is a good Coach but , Butler is going to struggle this year . They don’t have the talent they did a few years ago . They are always dangerous at Hinkle though .

The reasons he isnt here all make sense. I still just selfishly wish he was here lol
Same. Totally get why he’s not and maybe for the best but still really liked the guy. His outside shooting and unnecessary turnovers were frustrating at times but the second he sneaks up behind Jenkins for a strip and layup or against all odds puts back an offensive rebound over Soriano we’re going to remember how nice that was to have for our side. Again grateful to have Pitino and his squad here for sure but just appreciating Posh for what he was. He’s going to be an absolute pest to play.
