I just want anything that will make Uconn fans unhappy. It's not like I'm wishing for their team to crash in the Andes and the players have to eat each other but I wouldn't be opposed to their team taking a charter hoops flight hit really rough turbulence and go though some science fiction time air pocket land in russia and be forced to play in a russian leagueNot sure the issue with UConn. They have a football team -- it just sucks ass. Add them and let them be a bottom feeder. Every conference has one.
What is funny about this is that the writer doesn't know Uconn has afootball team.Tramel's ScissorTales: Brett Yormark faces resistance on Big 12 adding Gonzaga, UConn

I would have no problem if their program becomes the next “Yellowjackets” tv series.I just want anything that will make Uconn fans unhappy. Yeah let’s see the quotes from the football coachesI'm not saying it won't happen, but basketball coaches have next to no impact on these decisions.
Can’t wait for Mora to have more clout than Hurley.I'm not saying it won't happen, but basketball coaches have next to no impact on these decisions.

Because it would offer them more long term stability as football conferences won’t be strapped for cash.I get UCONN wanting to find a home for their miserable football team but why would they join the Big 12 as a basketball only school. It makes no sense to me?
I don't think they're even allowed to do that. My understanding is that you have to join a conference for all sports, unless that conference doesn't offer the sport you're offering (e.g. Big East not offering football).I get UCONN wanting to find a home for their miserable football team but why would they join the Big 12 as a basketball only school. I was going to say this. I think part of the deal with the ACC is that they have to schedule a certain amount of games with their teams, but they are indeed still independent. Not true. Notre Dame in ACC still Independent in football.
Absolutely correct.I was going to say this. I think part of the deal with the ACC is that they have to schedule a certain amount of games with their teams, but they are indeed still independent.
