Around the Big East

Headline: Seton Hall men's basketball a COVID scratch vs. Iona, could Big East forfeits be next?

As much as we've all wanted to return to normalcy, we're still not there.  I suspect that by the end of the season, if games are being played they'll be played without any fans.

Got a feeling that tomorrow's game at MSG will be the last in-person home game for SJU fans. This reminds me of the Big East Tourney in 2020.

If it even happens, at the rate games are getting cancelled wouldn't shock me if later tonight or tomorrow morning it gets cancelled.

Big East rule is in place now where Seton Hall will forfeit its game against St. John’s, but league source told @Stadium they will continue to monitor situation and be willing to adapt the rule if need be.

Then we're into a refund situation for season tix holders.

Are we then not in 1st place?  /media/kunena/emoticons/cool.png

Obviously Nova is great program with an outstanding HC and system, that has played a rigorous out of conference schedule with a lot of tough road games. However, it appears this is not a vintage Nova team that is not very deep. They trail Creighton by nine with 12 & change to go in second half and shooting poorly thus far.

So then all things being equal it looks like the best team in the conference could be ASU?  Maybe we should have hired Hurley…
