PG Ryan Conway makes the call for Seton Hall | Zagsblog

The 6-foot-1, 160-pound Class of 2021 point guard from Dulaney (MD), chose Seton Hall over Vanderbilt, Providence, Marquette, Stanford and Rutgers.

Not a great list of schools offering him
Hit all schools button. He had legit interest from Vandy, PC M’Q & Rutgers I know, not shabby.

I hear you. Nobody was giving Champagnie any love last year at this time and now I wouldn’t trade him for 95% of the players in he Big East

Hope he’s gone. He’s a punk. Thought he was dirty player in that Seton Hall game at end of the year.

Him and Marshall from Xavier. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out

Four-star center Adama Sanogo just verbally committed to UConn and is reclassifying to the 2020 recruiting class, he tells

Say what you want about Hurley, but he is a very tough recruiter.
You could see it they way they played at the end of last year. He is turning it around and this kid is a nice piece, basically stole him from SHU. Make no mistake UCONN will be a major player again in the BE and college basketball again.

I would love to, but then I would be using language that would get me banned.

Seton Hall devastated by this one. Sanogo is a top 50/60 kid right from Seton Hall’s backyard. They thought he was a lock. And then their prodigal son Hurley comes in and swipes him. The 2021 kid SH got a verbal from last night seems like a nice player but they really really wanted Sanogo.

You really like UCONN, it’s hard to contain for you eh Fordham? ;-)

Sanogo is a big piece for them. They were worried about the 5 spot which was a weakness. Sanogo helps that quite a bit. Big, talented kid. UConn’s weakness is gonna be their defense. Their guards nor wings are really good defenders. Gaffney was not a big defender and RJ Cole is not well regarded there either. That said, they are talented and Hurley is landing some very nice talent. I don’t like the fact that they’re getting better but I’m gonna enjoy hating them again in our league and they draw real interest from fans. Their fans don’t view us as a huge rival but they will again and they’re gonna hate playing against Mike Anderson’s style.

No love for UConn either, but respect Hurley/Kimani recruiting ability. Hopefully Anderson and staff keep pedal to metal and land solid 21 & 22 kids. CMA is Imo better sideline coach than many in BE, including DH. Landing very good BE level recruits over next two cycles will only underscore that.

Cinco de Mayo/Taco Tuesday Prediction: Hurley's fall at Yukon will be even uglier than Ollie's.

I don't have a very high opinion of Hurley as an in-game coach (I think he's extremely average) but it is undeniable that he is one of the best recruiters in the nation right now. I have zero doubt that Anderson is the better coach on the sidelines but Hurley is accumulating major talent at a concerning rate. Sanogo, Andre Jackson and Bouknight are all bigger recruits than we've seen in years. After the traditional blue bloods, UConn might be recruiting better than anyone in the nation.

"They did a phenomenal job recruiting him. He told me a couple of weeks ago he was going to Seton Hall."

- Chris Chavannes, The Patrick School coach, on Adama Sanog
