Around the Big East 19/20

Yes, many good BE players will be moving on after this season, but there are many like these two ready to take center stage;

Seton Hall up to 13 in AP poll. Creighton up to 10. Villanova holds at 12. Butler and Marquette drop out. #shbb #bigeasthoop

Been reported that Myles Powell has been suffering from knee tendinitis which could account for his recent shooting slump.

I’m going with Saddiq Bey if he stays another year

Recruiting Update: Per multiple sources, @GeorgetownHoops HC Patrick Ewing & Asst. Louis Orr are in Minn. to Hopkins High & 2020 Top 100 prospect Kerwin Walton (@K_Walton24). Hoyas staff's making a push for Walton. This is the fourth time in six weeks they are in to see him.

He hast been the same player this year. I thought maybe it was the concussion but somethings not right.

I wonder if Seton Hall fans talk shit nonstop about him on their boards like we do about our injured players on our boards.

Our injured players arent very good. Myles powell is in the running for national player of the hear. So probably not.

Heron is not very good (when healthy)?

No. Hes an ok player when healthy. Myles Powell, Sadiq Bey, Marcus Howard etc. Those are very good players.

St johns doesnt have very good players. That is why we are in the basement of the big east. I believe that changes next year.

Heron is a great kid but this year he just was not good. Plain and simple. We thought he could be the guy but his success comes when defenses are all over another major player. That also allowed LJ to be more effective. LJ and Heron struggled a lot being the focus.

Plain and injured is not plain and simple. Strong baseline driver who could jab step his defender to back off corner three can't do that when he does not have the leg drive to get all the way to the rim and defense no longer has to play him for the drive.

Really tough and bad luck for Herron. He came here, highly touted from Auburn and played very well . Sure , he had a few games out with injuries last year and he was obviously Option number 2 to Ponds . This season probably fell apart at the Pan Am games where he first injured himself . After that , he was a shell of the Player we saw last year and thought we had this season . His game didn’t suddenly deteriorate to factors other than the injury . A healthy Herron was a quality player what might have gotten us a few more Wins . It’s tough too, as he was denied a true Sr year to showcase his potential for the next level . A tip of the hat to him for coming to play here and good luck for his future .

Source: UConn's Sidney Wilson has been suspended indefinitely for a violation for team rules. Huskies are now down to seven scholarship players. Have went 5-2 in their last seven despite limited resources.
