Really thought Nova was going to pull this one out after they tied it. Baldwin with ice in his veins!
Providence, at home, beats Creighton, 73-56.
Makes Saturday even tougher for us with creighton at home and coming off a big loss.

Chris McManus

“Quincy McKnight up to 28th nationally in assist rate (36.0), 1st in Big East play (44.9), 7.6apg“

Talk about glue guy. To think he transferred from small school near me in Ct., Sacred Heart.

I have to pay Ed Cooley a compliment even though he is my least favorite coach in the Big East. He gets his kids to play hard and above their heads most times.

That was hard for me to say.

Every.Single.Year. PC starts off slow, and then is a beast from January on.

No worries........we got Mikey Dixon, Sedee Keita, and Eli Wright instead.

I've learned to never bet against him, when his team is a vast underdog. Of course, you should never bet on him when his team is a big favorite, but don't bet against him as an underdog.

Agree with the many pundits who say they are a Final Four team. Sigh. I wonder if one day we'll ever get there. :(

Lines:
Georgetown -4.5 vs DePaul
Villanova -3.5 vs Seton Hall
Creighton -9.5 vs St. John’s
Xavier -4 vs Providence

Not good for Georgetown, who has been competitive throughout most of their games since losing 4 players, as Yurtseven hobbles off the court with an apparent ankle injury.

McClung is also still out with an injury.

One week too late as far as Yurtseven.
