Around the Big East 19/20

There's a better chance of UConn going down to FCS in football rather than getting in a F5 conference IMO. The ship has sailed. No F5 in their right mind would want their football especially seeing Rutgers stink it up in the B1G. They know UConn would bring the same. UConn basketball means nothing to them because they only care about football in F5. They are at Stony Brook or Buffalo's level. They aren't going anywhere at least for a long time unless they become Memphis overnight.

Syracuse signed a deal with the devil with the ACC. More money but now they are much less competitive. Same with Pitt. Pitt basketball used to be a BEAST. Cuse will still have good seasons here and there but nowhere near the top 10 blue blood level they had here in the Big East. And this is with Boeheim...just imagine when he's gone.

Watching this Indiana / Puconn game, Hurley is certifiably a maniac on the sideline. They can't lose enough for me. BTW, friggin Wilson having a good second half.

UConn football is a joke. They have a 40,000 seat stadium which would not hold the fans on a normal Saturday of virtually any of the top 5 conference schools. Their average attendance was 18,000 this year or approximately 110K for the year--Penn State draws 107K/game; Ohio ST-106K/game and Michigan draws 108K/game.

And another deal with the devil--the original sinner of the BE--Boston College

Frankly, Wilson looked average as hell out there in the second half.

Guess I happened to see his highlights then.

Honestly, I only noticed him on an alley oop dunk in the second half. Otherwise, he was non-existent IMO.

I agree about Hurley. I’m not saying he isn’t a decent coach but he’s awful to watch. Googly-eyed and always having a tantrum.

Wilson sucks and is a troubled player.

Is it a family "trait"; the above seems to describe his brother also.

Agree, they’re both really annoying to watch coach. Micro managers that are always rolling their eyes, yelling, pouting etc. Danny more annoying to watch that Bobby for me, but maybe that’s just because I hate UCONN.

You mean they coach like they played? :p

Yes, a most disturbing image. Perhaps a horse tranquilizer is in order?
Butler hanging in there with Baylor.
I didn't get a chance to watch Butler game last night, but if they can take Baylor to the last shot, on the road, they might be our best team. Baylor dominated Villanova a couple of weeks ago.

With Butler and DePaul having seen their unbeaten records fall over the past few days, the longest active winning streak in the league belongs to St. John's, at 5 games.

What. A. Mess.

Not to get joy from the misery of others but I have no idea how they're going to hold up when Anderson is pressing them with 10 well-conditioned guys for 40 minutes. Do they have anyone red-shirting they can call in?
