They have at least 3 other players who already contribute and have a lot of upside. They have been in every game, and like us with Seton Hall, must be upset about blowing that 4 point lead to us at home. Next season, they have to replace Govan. Not sure if they have someone in mind.
Just got a commitment from four star big. To me, if GT finishes reasonably well, Ewing could be the BE COY or at least garner a lot of votes. He has done a very good job & starts three freshmen.
It will be interesting to see how they finish the year in the Big East, they have a tough schedule. Still have to travel to Marquette, Seton Hall and Creighton. They also have Seton Hall and Villanova at home.
Aside from beating us at the Garden, they really don't have any significant wins this year based on NET and RPI. Also their SOS is once again worse than ours.
Yes, they are tied with us at 5-5. However, Providence and Xavier are tied for last at 3-7, and Georgetown is done with both of those teams, as opposed to ourselves, who still have 4 games left with them (I keep thinking Providence is going to get better, but they have to start winning at some point - hopefully, they won't).
