Providence is exacerbating it. They have problems scoring. The Friars are on their way to double-digit conference losses.

Looks like Providence is going to lose this game at home to Georgetown. Down 9 with 4 min to go. Would rather play them coming off a win than a loss but watching them play, we are better than them

Redmen in general, and Shamorie in particular, getting some props tonight. They had a graphic on Shamorie entitled “That’s Shamorie!” which I recall seeing on our boards last year (maybe Monte? I don’t recall who, but I remember thinking how clever it was, so hats off to the originator). In any event, they”re ripping us off!

Looks like Creighton is playing without both Zegaroski and Alexander. Leading Nova by 3 with 3:22 left.

Zegarowski injured & out indefinitely

Cats on the short end of a horrible called foul on a 3. Creighton player jumps into grounded Nova defender. First one missed, Nova up 1, 37 ticks to go

Expecting a nailbiter vs. PC as per usual in conference play. Sure we are much more talented but that's exactly what scares me. They have nothing to lose and we will be playing with pressure.

After watching Nova recently, I am convinced SJU clearly is capable of knocking them off at MSG. It will be interesting to see that line. This is s great opportunity to get them with a solid Nova nucleus returning and an awesome recruiting class in the wings.

Agree. This year's Nova team plays at a pretty slow pace. Would love to see us speed them up, force some turnovers and get crowd at Garden going. Only problem with Nova is Paschall & Booth (especially Booth) are both tough with the game on the line. All the more reason to beat them going away!

Ewing doing a nice job at Georgetown. McClung a real nice find as he was a 3*. They have at least 3 other players who already contribute and have a lot of upside. They have been in every game, and like us with Seton Hall, must be upset about blowing that 4 point lead to us at home. Next season, they have to replace Govan. Not sure if they have someone in mind.

Just got a commitment from four star big. To me, if GT finishes reasonably well, Ewing could be the BE COY or at least garner a lot of votes. He has done a very good job & starts three freshmen.

They just signed a highly thought of four star big out of HS (beat out Syracuse) plus they have the NC State transfer Yurtseven (averaged 14 and 7 for the Wolfpack last year). They will be in good shape up front as Leblanc also will be back.

Nova may be even better next year. If Howard and Hauser stay, Marquette a force again. Georgetown may join them at the top of the conference. Puts more urgency on our need to dance this season.
