We will definitely send Heron and Figueroa. If we send a third, I guess it would be Williams. Would be a special day for the sophomore.

I wasn't expecting this ... and I wonder if DePaul fans were.

I agree. Not sure how results to date would deserve an extension of any kind.

Probably had a chance at a good recruit & needed to assure him he would be around. Competitors were likely chirping the opposite.

It can be done there. Pat Kennedy might have been a cheater, but it can be done.

DePaul is currently getting some of their best recruits in a long, long time. It's the right move to extend him. They will get better once the talent arrives.

Current 2020 Big East class rankings:
#3 Xavier
#11 Butler
#15 Marquette
#26 Seton Hall
#39 Georgetown
#48 St. John's
#57 Providence

Xavier also is leading for Ben Carlson (#81 on 247) and will most likely finish with a top 5/10 class. The other 4 teams non listed (Villanova, UConn, DePaul, and Creighton) currently have empty classes, but that will obviously change. If the top ~50ish teams tend to earn at-large bids each year, it's a really good sign that we have 7/11 teams with recruits in the top 57. And that's WITHOUT our recent National Championship programs.

For anyone concerned over the league's performance this past month: don't be.

Been a long time since I've seen Davidson in a pre-season top 20.

I think Xavier has the best combination of veteran and incoming talent in the conference.

Gonzaga is the team I have to really compliment. A team no one heard of 20 years ago, w no major conference affiliation to a top 10 program. They are doing something right.
