Around the Big East 18/19
https://247sports.com/college/indiana/Article/Butler-6-11-center-Joey-Brunk-to-graduate-and-transfer-130581568/
. Great story on Indiana Basketball . Hard to believe the Hoosiers have slipped from a Top 10 Blue Blood Program to mediocre currently in the last 25 years . While IU hasn’t been awful in that time frame , our decline in the same time frame has been more evident . How the mighty have fallen ! Knight , Davis , Sampson , Crean, and now Archie Miller as Hoosier Coaches . Miller hasn’t set the World on fire in 2 years . And , Crean did a credible job at Marquette before going to IU. It’s tough being a College BB Coach , no matter past accomplishments .

Are there conference specific rules about transferring within the Big East ?

Don't think that is allowed.

Quinerly was a bust...maybe he surprises elsewhere.

I thought it was allowed, but a player would have to sit out two years. I know that was the rule at one point.

Surprised myself, and watched through the whole game.

DePaul with the W in OT. 100-96.

Eli Cain looked like he hurt himself badly.

I watched the last 10 minutes of regulation, plus the OT. I was wondering why Can's name was not being called much. Struss also looked like he was playing through a hand/wrist injury.

Dink you are correct that was the rule at one point but it was subsequently changed (prior to the re-alignment) to not being allowed in BE Basketball and Football but allowed in other sports. With Football no longer in play, I believe the restriction in basketball still applies.
Myles Powell declares for NBA draft
I think he'll still return for his senior year.

Powell impressed me with his late season play. No reason not to test the waters. Deceptively quick, great finisher, streaky shooter.
