Mullin can’t although he promised payback early in his career for all the beat downs I’m still waiting

Xavier could have won in regulation, if Goodwin had hit both free throws with two seconds left, and had two chances to tie it at end of overtime. Xavier will be, once again, at top of conference next year.

Hard to believe, but Depaul is the only Big East team still playing. They're at it again tonight (Wednesday night).

CBI Semifinals:

8:00 PM - Coastal Carolina at Depaul - foxsportsgo.com

As an aside, what a month of March for Max Strus.

March 3 vs. St. John's - 43 points, 14-22 FG, 6-10 3 point FG

March 6 vs. Georgetown - 30 points, 8-15 3 point FG

March 9 vs. Creighton - 19 points, but still shot 5-11 from 3 point range.

March 13 vs. St. John's - 14 points (and 6 of those were in the final minute, after the outcome had been decided), only 4-12 FG, and 2-7 3 point FG. You can say he took one for the Big East Conference, since the outcome of this game gave the Big East a 4th NCAA Tournament team.

March 20 vs. Central Michigan - 33 points, 10-17 FG, 7-13 3 point FG

March 25 vs. Longwood - 38 points, 15-21 FG, 5-11 3 point FG

If my math is correct, that's 49.25% from 3 point range (33/67). He's also 28 for 29 from the FT line, during this stretch. That's remarkable.

To play immediately, no I assume

Martin Krampelj could return to Creighton for his senior season — or he could begin his pro career.

"It won't be an easy decision."
