Around College Basketball

Partially confusing as Rothstein kind of made this seem like this is a change to how it’s been handled in the past - it’s not.

I think if we’re really on the bubble come selection Sunday the committee will give us the edge. CBS would much rather have SJU and Pitino in over a team like Mississippi State
Yeah once I realized that, it made me sad to think that since we haven't been on the bubble in a long time/consistent basis, that no one knew this already existed.

Yep. We were the last team in in Mullin's final season, other than that there haven't been any other toss ups for us going into selection sunday

That's a legitimate disadvantage.
Especially given the team's recent successes in the BET. ;)

I remember the last time the team played on Friday, in Y2K and even made it to Saturday that year. The MSG edge baring its claws.

They are already stroking themselves trying to figure out how to make St. John's play New Mexico. If Louisville didn't suck they'd actively be trying to figure that out too.

Two more Top 25 teams go down to unranked teams last night. It seems the only bubble team without a win against a ranked team is us. This does not bode well.

Kalkbrenner getting lob after lob out of pick and roll against Xavier. Would love to get that kind of easy offense from Maker in a few years.
