This has been a very strange year in college basketball. From the top teams to the bottom teams in the country nothing on a given night seems certain. Marquette a team that was picked ninth, two slots below SJU in the pre-season Big East poll, now looks pretty certain to win the regular season conference title.

The two top ranked teams in the country #1 Houston (25-2) and #2 Alabama (23-4) both have defeats on their resume (Houston to Temple and Alabama to UConn) to teams beaten by SJU. That is really bizarre, especially considering how far we are from the top tiered teams in the nation.

Also with the portal ( while way too soon to be definitive ) I figured every year going forward would be the biggest schools getting stronger and that's not the case at least this year

No offense but since you keep insulting us and I say this who has no intention on living here after I retire ( granted that's a long time from now ) but politics aside I could list 30 states Id live in before Georgia and the best thing you have going for you is Buckhead and a Charlie Daniels song

And I literally posted this on my Facebook 2 weeks ago this was the best food in your airport lounge 2 weeks ago in Atlanta

Funny I am currently traveling and when asked proudly state where I am from. No problems or conflicts. Maybe you should change the circles you hang out in.

But if it makes you feel better, I won’t claim you as a New Yorker. Wouldn’t want to claim someone who is ashamed where they came from.

Lastly, if you want to talk politics, there are plenty of other forums you can go to. I am done with this.

Old screen name. I lived in GA for only 4 yrs. It's a craphole that I would never return to. No offense taken.
 
A couple of A10 things VCU and Mike Rhoades in first place in the A10 beating Richmond tonight. Really like that guy.

And things you thought you would never see, Rose Hill sold out tomorrow for Rhode Island. Tickets were on StubHub for $100+
