Maybe he can come back to be HC
Otis my man, did you see that beatdown today, of Iona smacking down Siena?
They smacked them down pretty bad huh? Was 44-21 at halftime, was no contest buddy.

Still gonna talk smack on a HOF coach?
Those great coaches have a way of making people shhhhhhhhhhh.
They demand respect.

I'm giving Urgo extra credit for keeping a good team good for just one year? WTFFFFFFFFFFFFF
Urgo wasn't one of the 4 names I had on my list, maybe you just assumed he was.

Think what you want though, I don't really care.

I think it was late and I totally misread your post. LOL I thought you had urgo over speedy. And I wasn't even drunk.

I’m not Otis

“How is this not getting more attention?” Jaeson wondered aloud last week. “I would’ve thought people would be making a bigger deal of it.”

Probably because it has taken 5 years. I can't wait until every player that was affected by covid in college athletics is out of the picture honestly. It is just weird. I am glad they got to make up for lost time but goddamn there are some old heads in college sports now

Is Charlie Moore still around? He played six years.

Hofstra following Charleston's footsteps and making sure they get paid if somebody poaches Speedy.

It was said by someone here (and it might have been taken from an article or link that was included in the post) that Speedy was very happy at his alma mater and did not need the money that goes with taking a job in the Big 6 Conference.

I remind folks that he had committed verbally to Hofstra when we made a late run at him to try to convince him to come here for college. He stayed true to his word and had a very successful college career and seven years in the pros.

So true. Also, Maravich only played 3 years. 83 games to Davis' 141 and counting. Averaged over 40 every season at a high major. He was special.

Pistol Pete averaged over 44 points per game during his 3 years in college without a 3 point shot. Got to believe he would have averaged over 50 a game as many of his baskets were jump shots from distance.

I watched the second half of the West Virginia - Iowa State game last night and Joe Toussaint was the best player on the court and led the Moutaineers to a win which might have clinched an NCAA bid. He can hit threes, handles the ball at crucial times, went six for six from the line, in the last two minutes, and defends like Posh did as a frosh. He would have been a major player for SJU.
