Around College Basketball
The Chambers situation seems curious. I wonder what else turned up in the investigation? Especially for him to resign? While that noose comment may have been in poor judgement or absent-mindedly insensitive, it doesn't read as intentionally hateful or malicious to me (at least not in the reading of the text, haven't read the player's comments). It certainly wouldn't seem anywhere close to the nonsense Marshall has been pulling. I can't believe that guy hasn't been let go yet. How does Witchita State see this ending?

And yeah...if the NCAA wants to salvage any small part of their reputation as an organization that takes rules, discipline and fair play seriously then either Wade and Miller should be out of jobs or LSU & Arizona need to be given big boy punishments. If not now then why have the rules at this point? Just add a salary cap.
We're living in a world right now where context doesn't matter. Scary, yes. Poor judgement obviously regardless, but clearly was not intended to offend. People are scared to say this stuff. But maybe it was more...

Rothstein;

Source: The Division 1 Basketball Committee has voted in favor of maximum scheduling flexibility for this season. Teams can play in two MTEs and two teams from the same conference can play in the same MTE.

Waiting now on final approval from D-1 Council.

Over 30 teams are going to play in Mohegan Sun bubble. St. John’s is one of them. Just read it on ESPN.con

Are League only schedules becoming more practical?

He may do well at Texas Tech. I can see Beard getting him to play more under control. Certainly has the talent.

If basketball season is going to happen they won't be able to stop activities for 14 days. They are going to have to acquire rapid testing kits like professional sports leagues have done.

Keeshawn Barthelemy is my sons good buddy. My son played behind him summer of 2019 for Brookwood Elite. A great kid whom I know for 10 plus years. Was very unhappy when Colorado redshirted him last season and hopefully he has a great freshman season.

Just two days after announcing that center Malik Williams will miss at least 12 weeks with a knee injury, Louisville announced that graduate transfer guard Charles Minlend will miss six weeks because of a knee injury.
Minland, who came to U of L as a grad transfer from San Francisco, suffered a sprained medial collateral ligament (MCL) in his left knee during practice last Thursday. he had an MRI done on the knee at Norton's Audubon Hosptial and it confirmed the diagnosis.
