Around College Basketball (non-Big East) 2018/19

Meanwhile Texas Tech finished the regular season 26-5 and tied for first in the Big 12 with Tariq having 8 points, 14 rebounds and 3 blocks in their final win today. I'd say he made a pretty good decision
I don't understand how anyone on this board said Owens move was not better for him. I defended it all season and I was right. Tech is a legit Final Four threat and Owens became one of the best defenders in the country.
Texas Tech lost a lot from last season, too. Predicted to finish 7th in the Big 12 preseason polls at the beginning of the season, but will end the season tied for 1st place with Kansas State.

Ja Morant was fantastic after a shaky first couple minutes. Led Murray State to the championship.

Must watch whoever Murray state plays in the first round

Iverson like, enjoyed him tremendously last night in a great chess match of a game.
UConn took an SJU-like beating from Houston.
Don't think you'll find anyone on here upset about that.

And they played in a nearly empty arena. My how the mighty have fallen.

Tulane has parted ways with Mike Dunleavy. Could be an interesting experienced bench coach for someone...

Recall story that Dunleavy reached out to CM when the SJ job was open hoping to get CM to connect him. Unbeknownst to him CM was already discussing the job.

It's true he was interested in the job

Wow that seems really high, what does the Big East get?
Looks like we get half that much over 12 years:

Sounds like a way overpriced and convoluted plan to kill the Big East again. Would have been better off flooding the Atlantic 10 with money.

This wording would make CRINGE if I were a fan of an AAC basketball team:

"Football, along with men's and women's basketball, will remain on ESPN, ESPN2 and ESPNU, but the majority of basketball games and a significant number of the football games will go to ESPN+. "

Talk about no exposure playing on PPV ESPN+. How can you sell that to recruits?
