As much as I dislike Duke, I can't stand Chris Mack either so glad he blew it.

Duke should win the championship this year.
I usually don't agree with sentiments like the one I'm about to say, because it's usually stupid, but:

Duke might actually beat the Knicks this year, if they played. I know that the entire Duke roster is not made up of professionals, but then again, neither is the Knicks roster.
No shot. Come on Knicks are still a professional team. That is a dumb statement.

Dennis Smith Jr destroyed Duke 2 years ago with NC State and he didn’t get worse.
That's usually my mentality as well, but this Knicks team is really, really bad. They don't have 3 top 5 picks, like Duke does.

Plus, Duke might sweeten the pot by promising them Zion if they lose!... LOL!
The Knicks would beat them by 60.
Did not see one second of it but I would also guess Duke got at least 5 favorable calls during the comeback
No, Louisville absolutely collapsed.
And Kentucky got shafted (not that that’s a bad thing)
Game should be more notable for being the first game to be announced by two blind announcers. Dickie V admits to being blind in one eye but the play by play guy was ridiculous. He kept insisting the tip in was off the rim and out of the cylinder as they kept showing a camera shot from above the rim that showed 3 quarters of the ball was still above the cylinder. Dude they showed it 5-6 times waiting for you to change your opinion and admit it was in the cylinder. Producers probably finally got in his ear to alert him and on about the 50th replay finally he acknowledged ball MIGHT have still been in the cylinder. REALLY!

I’m watching the Murray State vs Austin Peay game. It’s my first time seeing JA Morant for an extended stretch. I can see why the NBA loves him. Decent jump shot. Above average handle. Makes excellent point guard decisions. Can jump out of the gym with a 6’7” wingspan.

Excellent defensive coach!
I don’t see Bennett being a fit there due to his style of play. As the article mentioned, look at what happened with Howland.

I loved Vitale’s line about being voted the sexiest announcer before Bennet leaves UVA for UCLA.

Bennett is not a fit. The fan base would hate how his teams play. Still think Pitino could happen.

Thanks JSJ, good list of possible candidates . The UCLA job is a almost impossible task . It’s a lot like Indiana , Kentucky , NC , Duke , Kansas, etc The pressure to Win is intense as the fans think these Programs should be challenging for NCAA Championships s every year . And , it’s not enough to just win Games , you have to have your teams play a Fan Friendly style plus suck up to the Alumni boosters . Alford didn’t do a bad job , until he recruited Bell and his Father . Howland was a good Coach but, not dynamic enough for Bruin fans . Seeing Kelvin Sampson has to be a joke . Kelvin would have UCLA on probation for Years s with Recruiting violations and kids getting arrested , etc . His teams win but, at what price ? Oklahoma and Indiana can vouch for that . Houston hasn’t been enough of a Winner yet to draw the NCAA investigators . It will come . And , yes , Virginia is a boring team to watch and can come unglued as they did in last year’s First round and also looked over matched this year in both , Duke Games .

Yeah, it's hard with this fanbase. They love Showtime, Lob City, not half court sets and 55 point games.

VCU has blown a 22 point second half lead at Dayton.

Still 4 minutes left, and only a one point game, but momentum is not on their side right now.

Game on NBC Sports Network.

That's a really good borderline Q1 away win for #43 VCU over #82 Dayton. VCU looking more and more like it'll remain a Q1 victory on Selection Sunday.

It's really such an underrated win by most people here. If instead of VCU, what if we beat Syracuse, Ohio St, Indiana, Minnesota, Florida, Clemson, Alabama or Oklahoma? People would be a lot more excited, right? Well, all those teams are behind #43 VCU in NET, or at best 3 spots ahead of them. So aside from bragging rights for beating a "Power" school, there isn't any difference as far as our resume is concerned.

Adam, not trying to be contrary here, but in a way I think that just reinforces the questionable validity of NET rankings.
I haven't watched all of the teams you mention above, but I have seen both Ohio State and Syracuse play more than once and I would much rather play VCU in first round of NCAA than those two teams who are rated below VCU in NET rankings. My second favorite team Davidson beat VCU by 7, albeit at home.

Bowling Green also won (again) beating Northern Illinois by 20.
Rurgers up 33-32 at the half over #21 Iowa.

Ga Tech lost again and is in a downward spiral.

Thank god Shamorie went super saiyan against Georgia tech because we were dead in the water that game and it would’ve been a bad loss for the resume

Rutgers has learned to use their size and has nationally ranked Iowa on the ropes. We have not progressed as well and likely wouldn't beat them at this stage of the season.
