Around College Basketball 2019/20 Season

[quote="Paultzman" post=393359]Canadian guard Karim Mane has elected to sign with an agent and keep his name in the 2020 NBA draft, he told ESPN. News story:

Madness, sheer madness. 6 5 great athlete, great size for a pg, barely played last season, would have been much better off going to Michigan State or Marquette, being 2 of the schools he took officials to. Turns it on when he wants to but on a day to day basis does not play hard. Best of luck to him, but a real head scratching decision.

Ayo Dosunmu announces he will return to Illinois and withdraw from the NBA Draft. Huge for the Illini, and a VERY smart decision by Ayo.

In anticipation of the NCAA Board of Governors potentially canceling or postponing fall sports championships, Power 5 conference leaders have begun exploring the possibility of staging their own championships in those affected sports, multiple sources have told Sports Illustrated. This could be seen as a first step toward a long-theorized breakaway from the NCAA by the 65 schools that play college sports at the highest level.
