April Live Recruiting Periods

I feel like GSJ is a high effort guy. I like that. He's getting some valuable experience here and could ultimately have a nice coaching career. For now, he's a very young man (under 30 years old!). Yes, we definitely need to add a mature, hungry and experienced assistant. But, I am good with GSJ staying on.

Not sure what GSJ aspirations are (NBA ?), but if Mullin successful, next 2-3 years, would love to see the program in GSJ hands long term.

Well, right now he's a kid (28 yo). I am just saying he brings value and could have a good career ahead of him,

The North Korean model for succession.

Works hard & players like him apparently

That's half the battle.

I don't think it's crazy in a few years....if next 2-3 get better.

Look at guys like Brad Stevens when at Butler, Will Wade or even better the head coach of LA Rams...he's 30. It's all the rage in NFL.

Just think the guy has huge long term upside.

But obviously has to pay his dues first as an AC. He arrived here with zero coaching experience if I recall correctly. I know he did instructional “stuff”.

St John’s just offered Rivals150 @TeamThrillUAA guard James Bishop
@MarleyPaul22

Marley Paul
Greg St. Jean just watched him score 43 against Team Rio. #sjubb

Kofi Cockburn @kxng_alpha went for 23 and 7 against @BigTicket_JW and @TeamPennyHoops. Told @FloHoops he hopes to cut his list to 10 after AAU season. Story coming.

Nope

I am not a "Mullin hater" by any means, but how on earth is he not out there for the second straight weekend?

Tom Izzo and Bill Self feel the need to be there, but not our head coach who hasn't cracked the .500 barrier yet?

It literally boggles the mind. If we are going to be outworked with every other disadvantage we already have, we have no chance of success. None.

Zach B clarifying what staff are on road in Indianapolis this weekend

“correct its St Jean no Mullin this weekend I believe”

In Atlanta, but it appears Mullin is not out there at all. Puzzling
