Any more talk of moe staying or going?

I'm sorry, I will root for Harkless for sure; I have made it plain I think he is making a mistake but that is only my opinion and not worth much. However, to compare him to Dr. J, Connie Hawkins and Elgin Baylor is nonsense. He had a fine freshman year, but nothing to be mentioned with all-time greats. I mean, he was All-BE honorable mention, so let's keep it in perspective.

Will be interesting to see how Moe does at the NBA level... He's obviously got some skils and size, but everyone in the NBA is a 6'8" forward type.. His outside shooting consistency with the bigs will need to improve to make it at the next level. Good luck..

In Chad Ford's latest mock draft, he has Moe Harkless falling to the Bulls at #30. You talk about a disaster scenario for him if that's the case.

Analysis: Harkless reminds me a little of Trevor Ariza. He is a terrific scorer and defender who needs to get a more settled jump shot. Although the Bulls need a shooter, Harkless would be tough to pass up here if he's still on the board.

What really scares me about this situation is how deep this draft has the potential of being. I'm seeing players mentioned as being drafted in the teens that normally would be sure fire lottery picks (i.e. Jeremy Lamb, John Henson, Terrence Jones, Tony Wroten Jr., Austin Rivers, etc.). I really don't want to see Harkless end up as Omar Cook Part II.

No idea where Mo goes but if he slips to 2nd round so be it. He made his own bed so let him prove himself wherever he goes.

Seventeen (17) days and counting, unless he signs with an agent.

Wake up Moe. Hone your skills before you play, too soon, with the big guys. T H I N K !!!

Wouldn't that be something if he came back. Anybody know if he's signed with an agent yet?

I got confidence in Moe, I think he'll go higher then some of us may think

I really hope he does. Believe me, I can see it being a great choice for him if he goes in the first round (preferably in the middle range). But if he drops to the 2nd round, that is an absolute disaster for him. Lack of a guaranteed contract is a killer in the NBA.

We all know he should've waited another year, however he made his choice...my thing is if I was him, I would've waited to the last possible minute to declare..or at least until after the NCAA's where we find out who is going..I mean now that Austin Rivers is leaving Duke, that knocks him down a slot...now you get a few more declaring who are rated higher than Moe, and he could easily fall to second round..His life, his choices though...I enjoyed having him here for the year

I really hope so, however I think he's taking too much of a chance. It's possible he could go in the second round; wouldn't happen if he waits another year. C'mon Moe, take us to the promised land - one MOE year.

Duke freshman guard Austin Rivers will enter the 2012 NBA Draft, according to @GoodmanCBS.

He's dropping daily.

I wish Moe the best, but he is making a bad decision. The draft will be loaded with similar type player, most of which can shoot better than him at this point.

I use the Ron Artest test here. Ron was a much more polished player and physically much more developed than Harkless. If Ron stayed 2 years, so should Harkless.

The NBA is full of guys that can offer the same things Harkless does.

Terrific post, but he's gone.
I don't know that he'll ever be the player Artest is/was.

That being the case as more and more players announce for the pros and Moe's draft status appears to descend lower and lower why would he - who appears to be such a bright young man - remain intransigent in regard to his decision?

I know that only Moe can answer this question but i can't help but wonder out loud about it.
