Adonis De La Rosa,

Very odd. Hard to find a valid reason for no one from the staff making the trip up.

Inexcusable. But I've been hearing rumblings for a while that it's far from a done deal. Hope those rumblings are incorrect.

Honestly......why won't Lavin recruit 2014 seniors? Where is he? If you are in the running for this guy, and in our position, how do you not attend that tournament?

I think Lavin wants out. He cant rebuild with what is left. He is not recruiting at all for the coming year. He just wants to get paid off for the remainder of contract. His only strength was as a recruiter. And if he stops doing that, then goodbye. Because he SUCKS as a bench coach.

Also hard to find a valid reason for why Lavin and staff haven't been to the CTK gym to see DLR, On a side note, during the CTK-Loughlin chmapionship game I had a direct view of Lavin. Every single time I looked over at him he was sitting with his head down typing on his phone. He could not have looked less interested in the game. And keep in mind, DLR wasn't the only kid he should have been scouting.

I'm going with work stoppage in response to a pissing contest over a contract extension.

If because of lack of effort we lose a guy whose brother is currently enrolled, it's probably time to move on. De La Rosa also pretty much assured of a ton of PT that his body isn't nearly ready for.

It's almost like he's daring Monasch to fire him because he knows there's no one in the administration who will sign off on eating the contract.

All that said, I'd lie about my college leanings to build the big reveal up as a surprise.

This shows again that New York players are not a priority for our coaching staff.

There are much more interest in Louisiana, Florida or California (where all our players have transferred or didn´t enroll).

Exactly

He must feel good being pursued by some good programs. Hope he is enjoying it. Still think he comes here.

So you were paying attention to the game about as much as Lavin was then?

First of all I was sitting mid court(on the mezzanine) and he was sitting behind the basket, so every time the ball was at that end of the court I was able to, when I felt like it, look beyond the action and see him clearly. Secondly read my post again, I said "EVERY time I looked over........". Since I assume you weren't there, you can choose to believe me or not. No big deal either way. .

It does seem as though he's trying to create a bit of a build up to his announcement. But you also know how fickle these kids can be how persuasive other coaches can be. We already know there's no love for Lavin coming out of CTK. Having said that, I would be a lot more concerned if there was no Joey factor.

Maybe he's making a stronger push for Cunningham. I don't know why people think Green is leaving. Is this a rumor or fact?

We are not on Cunningham's final five list. Could be wrong, but I think he is close to or at limit of visits.

Why does this all sound familiar??????
