Adonis De La Rosa,

I'm not a big Cluess fan either. Never want him on St. John's. He bailed on us as a player. His teams play no D.

De la Rosa would be a great get. The weight loss has made him a real force. Very high ceiling. Lavin will close the deal with him IMHO.

Having seen him many times, I would not say he is "great get" at this point. That said, to fill Gift's spot it is fine. Beyond that, hopefully staff can develop him. It will be great if he pays the price to become a solid BE player. The ball will be in his court to lose more weight and break his tail to improve. Rooting for him!

I agree wt .and stamina could be a problem but he is big and workable. .

Perhaps not surprisingly the first skill of Delarosa's to show itself after a rusty beginning was his best skill; his passing. On one play he got the ball at the elbow and quick passed it down to Alston on the opposite side block for a basket. The impressive thing about the play was to see his eyes looking for the next pass as he caught the "hockey assist" from Andre Walker. His 14 point final quarter explosion included several tough catch and finish plays, and rebounds where he had to get from one side of the rim to the other. His size might mean he's not fast but he's exceptionally quick, not only with his feet but in the way he sees the game. He put an exclamation point on a 23 point 11 rebound effort with a spinning baseline drive that included effective use of a lefty dribble, and a block at the other end.

We need a big strong Center to compliment CO and Sampson. We will no longer have Gift. Lets get him.
 
Big kid and will be unstoppable in the post after more work with college staff and conditioning. I too hope we land this kid. Can't teach his size and hands. Staff keyed on him when not many others did. Seems like he's getting in shape now and focusing.

Big guy for sure. Funny, I was on line at concession at half and bumped into Adonis & Jesse G. Both are size guys we never have, big and strong.

You make him sound like the next John Wooden. Please lets stop overrating this guy. Can he beat Fordham first before he is a candidate for every Big East opening.He is more Bobby Gonzalez than Brad Stevens. Masiello is a weirdo, just watch the Real Sports on him. Noooooo thanks on him.

You think Seton Hall would go the Manhattan route again. Danny Hurley would be the guy to watch there if he is not scooped up before that time.

Supposedly there is some joke or something where some reporter asked him that once and he went off and now others are having fun with it as well.
