Time to move on.
That was the original rule and has since changed. All you have to do is graduate now and pursue a grad degree.
The problem is that he's probably near the top of grad big men.
Maybe, but I gladly take the trade of getting Femi for losing Tariq.
But staff has to close the deal, or we've taken a big hit.
That’s what gets me nervous, closing the deal.

It's now or never - w/o a suitable replacement for Owens, team is not moving forward.

Good luck. Texas Tech will be good next year. Let's not bash the kid or his Dad. We need to get a big ASAP. These grad transfer bigs aren't available for long, they're going like hot cakes. Even a JUCO big man would suffice.

I don't think we, as fans, want to accept how losing wears players down. The Catch 22 continues.
We will see if he gets 25-30 minutes per game at TT, as he would have here if he could avoid foul trouble. I guarantee you this, though. If he becomes a better outside shooter, he will begin to get guarded out there. Secondly, if he hasn't learned yet how to post, or put the ball on the ball and take it to the hole, he;s not going to learn that at TT.
Tariq Owens has asked St. John’s for a release and will graduate in May, per a source. Averaged 8.4 PPG & 5.9 RPG this season. per Evan Daniels
Does anyone know what his Big East stats were? Shot 32% from 3, which is subpar, but 50.4% from the field.
However, he shot better than Ponds (25% from 3) Team leaders Simon and Clark (about 41% each)

With the 72nd pick in the 2019 EEBL draft the Sarajevo Slapjacks select Tariq Owens. Someone tell Renard the real estate market is booming over there.

I am concerned about what Tariq had to say about why he is leaving the program.

Yes, he said the team failed to accomplish what they wanted to accomplish. They didn't win enough. So I understand the comments were made while looking in the rear-view.

However, I am concerned Tariq decided to leave because maybe he knows Shamorie does not plan on returning, in which case I don't blame him, because we will struggle and be in the basement of the Big East without Shamorie next season.

Time will tell

[JohnnyFan said it best. See above.

I used to think Zach Brazille was a good follow than he said that the Big 12 was a more "physical league" than the Big East.

He’s right though. It’s not a better league but it’s a more physical league.

Outside of Georgetown, all the teams are guard oriented finesse teams.
