will be at the game tonight....heres hoping for back to back wins.......gives me a headache to get exicted after a win only to follow with a loss....need some consistency ....one way or another lol

not sure of my seats yet....but if any other posters are there...wouldn't mind saying hi

we will need to fatten the resume by going 3-2 vs Nova, GT and X and win the remaining games.

There isnt enough marquee wins here for us if we are 9-9.

We woulda been better off playing Georgia instead of Minnesota in the NIT.

I think it'd be mathematically impossible for Seton Hall to drop in to the 100s at this point. I do worry about Cuse though and their motivation the rest of the way (side note - they are losing at BC tonight. BC +2 at home is right in the sweet spot of a trap line)

If the NBA or Europe doesn't work out I think he has a future as a James Bond villian. Grow a little goatee, he has the evil grin already. Have him walk around in those short shorts and can call him the Ball Hugger or something.

Hopefully, not the 8/9 game lined up with Kentucky.

IMO, the last two "bye" teams, should play in that game, even if those seeded better get lesser seeds. Being paired with Kentucky should be a punishment, IMO.

Have to keep the bracket true. The only really fair way would be to re-seed after each round but that would eliminate brackets which sadly enough probably adds tens of millions more viewers to the tournament.

Oh, I know they won't do it, but they should.

Re-seeding my be here before you know it. Most people fill out there brackets by computer now, and you know someone is going to invent something which would program in re-seeding.
 
We don't deserve to get in with a 8-10 conf record. Could we possibly atleast go 9-9 to give us 20 wins. Then possibly 1 or 2 wins in the conf tourny.
With 21 or 22 wins, we should get in, I hope.

The ncaa site says our rpi is now at #51, so can't say we're a top 50rpi team anymore.

I had an interesting conversation with this kid his first summer at SJU. His first sport was football (soccer) as a boy in Africa. Anyone even vaguely familiar with the body language of soccer players knows that reacting with a smile and while wagging one's finger merely means disagreement with a call. That cultural difference was evident when Dikembe Mutombo played basketball. No one described him as stupid or mocking then. American players regularly shake their heads while thrusting both arms. My guess is some here were profoundly scared by nuns in parochial school by their habit of wagging their fingers at them while fantasizing what they looked like nude under their habit. Besides, my favorite comedian is the king of finger wagging.

Ok if STJ finishes at 8-10 in the BE ,and doesnt win the BE tourney you can watch the selection show and be disappointed.

If SJU finishes 8-10 in conference but gets to the BET finals and loses then they have a 58.532% chance of being selected.

You might as well say that if we go 4-14 and win the BET we have a 100% chance of going. By all means will they look at a 9-9 and weight any teams who finished ahead of us as better in conference.

ESPN has our RPI at 41. So we CAN still say we are a top 50 RPI team.

What wagging fingers at you. My old, should have been put out to pasture, nuns used the pointer to whack you. Thank God for the great Marist Brothers in high school.
