True Beast, it all starts tonight. If they want to be considered to be players in the NCAA Tournament, then tonight is huge.

We don't deserve to get in with a 8-10 conf record. Could we possibly atleast go 9-9 to give us 20 wins. Then possibly 1 or 2 wins in the conf tourny.
With 21 or 22 wins, we should get in, I hope.

The ncaa site says our rpi is now at #51, so can't say we're a top 50rpi team anymore.

ESPN has our RPI at 41. So we CAN still say we are a top 50 RPI team.

This is actually a bit of cause for concern. If you look at the list on the NCAA site then you will see what the issue is. They, like RealtimeRPI, don't have the pre season NIT games posted as neutral court games. If they keep it this way then STJ will lose quite a few spots in the RPI rankings. The school should definitely do something about this with the NCAA and, if they are going to continue to say that preseason games at MSG are not neutral court then STJ should consider not playing in such games in the future. Every other school is playing neutral court games at this time of year and beefing up their RPI. STJ needs to do so too. I know they're in Maui and Bahamas the next couple of years so hopefully it clears itself up by then but it could have big impact this March given that STJ is likely going to be on the bubble.
