Geez Fuchsia, if I knew that you are built like an offensive lineman, I wouldn't have been such a wise ass to you.fuchsia post=440445 said:Going through life in a body built for football (O-line) I think at least some of our success the coming year will derive from Stanley or Nyiwe coming off the bench and being able to go through or over defenders for rebounds and putbacks, not to mention spacing the floor for our scorers.
It's going to be interesting to see what direction CMA goes in. I think starters will either be...NCJohnnie post=440260 said:I'm with Making Plays on this Champ 4 versus 3 issue. Think it's been a bit overblown. Many college teams play 3 guard lineups and seems like that has always been CMA's preference. Champ last year was forced to often play post defense and that doesn't allow him to show he can guard wings at the pro level. That shouldn't happen at aIl this year. However, I do think there will be lots of times where he will be on the floor with one of Soriano, Wheeler or Stanley and three of Posh, Smith, Coburn, Mathis, Wusu or Pinzon. In those lineups he might technically be considered the 4, but doubt he will have a problem with it.

Amen to that!

Hearing from my guys that the coaches absolutely love Pinzon.. scouts do as well.
Dont be surprised to see him starting by Kansas game.
His moxie and ability to not get rattled have been a pleasant surprise. He has the DPOY in Posh and Mathis who is a dawg, and they can’t do it.
Gonna need that, especially with an all new team.
Yeah he’s gonna be a stud. Can see glimpses already. He can facilitate with the pass but also drive and shoot. Really plays like that point forward type and really smooth with ball in his hands. If he gets time over some others it’s because he has the talent to do so.
