I also liked Mathis as well. Very fluid, athletic and had a good looking shot.

My final prediction on how CMA does the minutes to start the season.
1. Posh 30 MPG / Pinzon 10 MPG
2. Smith 20 MPG / Wusu 20 MPG
3. Mathis 18 MPG / Coburn 22 MPG
4. Champ 31 MPG / Wheeler 9 MPG
5. Soriano 22 MPG / Wheeler 11 MPG / Stanley 7 MPG
Breakdown
Champ 31 MPG
Posh 30 MPG
Soriano 22 MPG
Coburn 22 MPG
Wheeler 20 MPG
Smith 20 MPG
Wusu 20 MPG
Mathis 18 MPG
Pinzon 10 MPG
Stanley 7 MPG
I think as season goes on, Coburn will probably work his way into a starting spot over Mathis, and I could see Nyiwe and Stanley competing up until conference play for the last minutes at the forward spot. Could also see Pinzon working himself into some of Smith minutes if he struggles.

Is there any update on Wusu's status for our opener? Sounded like he was just about ready from what announcers said on Baruch exhibition telecast.
I would expect Wusu to be available, indication is he is practicing and first game is 1 week from today:
From the Post -
Soon, an 11th man, sophomore Dylan Addae-Wusu, will join that group. He’s been practicing after undergoing minor ankle surgery.

I could see Wusu playing more than 20 MPG. CMA really likes him, and he's strong enough to play the 4 in a small ball lineup.Amaseinyourface post=441371 said:Making Plays post=441370 said:From the looks of the exhibition games, CMA will have a solid 10 man rotation.

Pretty much agree with everything. But if Wusu stays healthy I’d bet he plays more minutes than Wheeler, regardless if that means we play small or not.
